Roof top tents? Mounting without a roof rack?
Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some pictures and advice from experience.

I am looking to get a roof top tent, hopefully hard shell and possibly an awing.


I'd like to get a SSO roof rack down the road but would not be able to currently before having to make a cross country trek.

So I'm looking for a good roof top tent and mounting options onto the factor roof rails right now that I could eventually transfer over to the SSO full length roof rack.

Ideas and spitballs appreciated

Get this for now and then just sell it when you're ready for the SSO rack

RTT and Niserack
I just ordered the Niserack and 4 bars for my 23zero RTT on my 2015 Trail. I will post photos (and probably video) when I get it all sorted out.

It's hard to beat the price of a niserack, but here's a few options that have been around for some time:
