New Bronco
So, who would be willing to part with their 4Runner for the new Bronco?
In full disclosure, I’m a huge Bronco fan having owned two Early Broncos and still owning a 74 Sport.
I think they nailed it.
I love my 4Runner and don’t know if I’d be able to part with the towing capacity.
I’m on the fence.

No need for an apology. Here is good one also.
Toyota owners seem to be a fickle group

I'm on my 9th 4runner since 84. No one can touch the reliability. Loving the v8 limited now.

No. What for? It's just an over-hyped SUV.

I've owned some Fords, worked on lots more as a master tech, and still have many friends in that line of work.
Ford will have to demonstrate much better long-term reliability, before I'll buy another one.

I wouldn't even trade my 2013 POS for a new Bronco.
Ford is shit.

I posted on another thread, but I owned Fords my whole driving life, but the last four were just junk, never buying a Ford again, maybe a Superduty, but that is all.
I guess "never", but Ford has a lot to prove to me they can invoke quality in their cars. With the Bronco being a new line, the thing could be bullet proof, or it could be a maintenance nightmare. Unfortunately, it will take a number of years to determine.
Plus, I am impressed with my 4runner, my first Toyota ever, so that is a pretty high bar to beat for me to switch or even consider a Bronco as a second car.

I would not own a ford again. If you buy one just make sure you keep your 4runner also so you have a reliable vehicle around to use when your ford is in the shop. Oh yeah they will give you a loaner. But then you might be driving the loaner more than the new bronco.

I like the Bronco from afar. I have only owned one Ford product, a Raptor. It was amazing when I drove it off the dealer lot. I was sure this was "the one". The one that made me stop buying cars. It turned out to be a pile of shit.
