Great topic especially for a new guy. Have had my 4R for a little over a month and am pondering which way to go on the valances/grille. My Tacoma which I traded for the 4R was MGM and the only chrome left was the rear bumper, everything else blacked out and debadged.

Thought I’d go a different direction with this one. Wheels are gunmetal and honestly thinking of keeping the silver valance for now. Been looking at the white pro grille from Trail Standard Offroad, maybe a possibility?

Not the best pic, sliders are ordered from RSG and I went with the stainless logos on them. Oh well, this is the fun stuff...

Black on black on black on black here. 70k miles going strong. No regrets. I think it's all personal preference.

How much trimming was needed. Have a 2020 TRD OR and was thinking about getting the ebay TRD Pro grill to make room for raptor lights.

No regrets, and I guess I'm in the minority, I like the Blue with Black valances, lol

I am betting no one regrets it. It is a great look with a vintage/classic feel. Only thing folks probably regret is what it cost. That being said we may do it on my girlfriends ‘17 SR5, it already has Pro suspension from that year and Pro wheels. How much are folks paying to do grill, emblem and front and rear black valances? It think the silver/black combo will look excellent.
