Damn straight! If I'm being completely honest, I'm envious of your wrench (did you buy one?).

I bet that baby would reduce my use time from 1 second to .75 seconds at least!

Here's a link (not wikipedia)
TBF, Castle Rock is becoming a suburb of Denver... and that's not a good thing.

I was under the impression that it was always a suburb of Denver...

But yeah, the state as a whole seems to be going that direction.

No sense in getting ripped off over an overpriced oil filter wrench. The MotivX oil filter wrenchl is the best tool on the market. However, if the oil filter housing isn't overtightened, the Wal-Mart wrench will do.

The Hyper Tough 64P-14 is available from Walmart for $4.67

It's sh'eet compared the Assenmacher.

If you use that MotivX thing you might begin to feel the need to try on ladies shoes at Walmart. I read about it happening on the internet.

And it's "wrench" not

The Assenmacher oil filter wrench is a 3/8" drive only and I'm glad I didn't buy one because my oil filter housing was over-tight after the last oil change at a dealership. I was unable to break loose the plastic housing using a Motivx wrench and 3/8" flex handle breaker bar. I stepped up to a 1/2" drive 18" breaker bar and 27MM socket and still couldn't loosen the housing. I was finally able to loosen it when I added a cheater pipe giving me 30" of leverage and applied steadily increasing torque.

I probably applied 40-50 lbs force at 30 inches which equates to 100-125 ft-lbs of breakaway torque. I suspect the plastic housing o-ring was installed dry. I very much doubt the Assenmacher 3/8ths drive can handle that much torque.

If you had used the Assenmacher 647LG you would have been able to remove the housing with a normal ratchet.

Does that hose work with the OEM filter canister?

Yes, I have that one and another generic I picked up of ebay, both work well, necessary, not at all, less mess absolutely.
