Any idea what the weight limit is on this rack? Can't seem to find it on the ARB Website. I really like how clean it looks and that it's a no drill option. If the weight limit is sufficient, I'll likely pull the trigger on this!

The 4Runner carries a net payload of 220 lbs on the roof. Given the rack is 60 lbs. the support of the rack from a net load standpoint is 160 lbs. per the installation instructions on the Base Rack. Which seems sufficient in most cases! Hope this helps.

Per Expedition Mule's website, the weight per cross beam is 55lbs and the total weight is 160lbs. Per ARB's website, the rack itself is rated at 330.7lbs.

The initial m8 bolts were tough to put in where the side rails are mounted on the 4Runner but other than that the install was a breeze. From unboxing to install it probably took 2.5 hours. As mentioned, the rack is a sold 1 piece rack with welded cross members instead of the traditional nuts and bolts fasteners on other racks. I have zero complaints with the ARB Base Rack. I am attaching a few photos of it mounted to my wife's 4Runner.

@midwestoffroad are you still happy with the rack? Any complaints after almost a year?

Horrible Vibration on 100km highway. especially when overtaking trucks.
On speed below 100km/hr .. no wind noise at all.

Dang that stinks. And that is just the bare rack making the vibration?
