Floor mat for FRONT of cargo area?
We already have the Toyota cargo tray for the rear cargo area (definitely a Must for our dog!), but looking for something that will protect the tops of the rear seats when folded flat when camping and need the entire cargo area. All the floor mat companies seem to skip that section except one that makes canvas covers. Or, do the rear mats fit the front section as well?

This looks close, but only for the 3rd row seats...

For the rubber mat, you could always buy a truck bed mat, and cut it to fit. I think those canvas things are nice, but that's a crazy amount of money to spend on something like that.
For a while. I just used a moving blanket I got at harbor freight for about $8.
Something that I'm planning doing soon, is to pick up those 2x2 sections of foam rubber flooring, like you would put under a desk or in a gym area, and do the cargo area with that. It'll be protection for the carpet, though it won't be 100% waterproof, it will add some cushion and some grip for the dogs.

The other option at least for the third row is these, but you can only get them in Canadia

I have the Canvasback liners also and love them. Also put a Weathertech Universal Trim to Fit mat down as the Canvasback liners are split to the seats.
Won't help with any puddling of water (due to angle backwards and I cut out some for the tie downs) but its definitely good protection when throwing heavier/dirtier things back in that area.(and fits perfect)

The Weathertech mat looks like what I was thinking, as not sure about heavier, dirtier stuff sliding across the seams on the Canvasback covers. Is this it?

Storage of that mat would seem to be a problem when you want to use the seats??????

One of my projects as soon as the weather stays above 80 for more than a day. 97° on Monday, 34° this morning...
For my Jeep and now for my T4R I bought two of these, laid them out, one in front, one in back, and cut them to shape. Took a few hours, but it eliminates all of the gaps between seats and even extends out to the doors and all the way up to the front seats. I very rarely use a third seat. Usually a drunken friend I DD for when we are out. Smooths out all seams and provides some insulation which is perfect for car camping.

I would simply take it out and toss it in the garage.

There's a ton of lower cost options if you don't need it pre-fit. I use one like this combined with a form fit rear plastic tray. Covers everything and goes with the seat when it folds down. And it's $40.
