Hi guys. Was curious if anyone had an inside track on finding a new Poo Green TRD PRO. I am on Toyota's site and local dealer sites but don't see any. I heard they have a shortage on vehicles with all that is going on. Any tips on where, or how to find a boo boo green Pro? Thanks. North Jersey preferred. I'm in NYC but the dealers here are terrible. Thanks

I had to look two states away to find mine.

How did you find it? I don't see a vehicle locate option on the Toyota site. I am just going through their entire list of dealers closest to me and found 1 but not sure how reliable it is. Out of, maybe 3 dozen dealers haven't found another.

My local dealer recently I went by had a AG Pro on there lot. Which is where I bought my last 2 Pros. Dealership is check there web site Freedomtoyota

Use cars.com and filter down to New Pro in your zip + how far you will travel.

If there is an actual picture it is usually on lot; if there is a stock photo it is in transit from port to dealer.

I see one available at Hillside Toyota for $51,663 which is 12 miles from Newark.

There's someone that owns a green Pro about 10 miles from me, but they bought it before the Covid thing hit. Good luck!

I reached out to the dealer that showed it in stock, they stated it was sold. I reached out to several local dealers and none have it, none claim to see any available nationwide (I'm sure thats not true), and that I would need to order it. Only one dealer even gave a rough estimate of how long that would take, at 3-6 weeks. I would have no problem ordering the 4Runner, however no one would even entertain giving me a trade in value on my 2019 OffRoad. Incredible. I fully expect to lose money on my vehicle. I am fine with that being a roughly decent chunk, but to go in blind on a purchase seems ridiculous.

So I sit with no real leads despite being a "buy today" person. I have a dealership who will keep me on his list of customers if/when a Army Green 4Runner shows up. I am surprised at how difficult this is. Oh, and ordering one, they want a NON refundable deposit which would be fine, however again, they will not give me an estimate on my trade in value.

I have called every dealer within 5 hours of me that had a Green one listed. None of them have one for sale. Incredible.

Worked at Toyota for 7 years. Coming from a dealer's perspective, the market is so volatile right now that it's really impossible to gauge what the trade-in figure will be once your order comes in. My experience with these orders is that it is more likely to be at least 8 weeks considering the demand and that these are coming from Japan. Nobody wants to lock themselves into a figure now that may be wildly different 2-3 months from now. It's a seller's market right now so unfortunately the consumer isn't really left with much choice.

They'll make up whatever shit they want to lowball you and then turn around and sell the truck for 2-3k over KBB.

I fully understand. I also stated to the dealers I am realistic about the value of my current vehicle changing once its time to take delivery. However, I was asking for an estimate for a rough idea. I made it clear I didn't want to waste anyones time, including my own. Hearing that my vehicle lost 12kk in value versus $5k is an immediate deal breaker.

If you don't like their practices, then don't reward them with your business.
