There are a few threads (you can search for) on this. Antman has a good one on how he converted his along with the wiring involved. There was a guy that would convert your mirrors or exchange them for a set already converted. You still have to do the wiring and switch install. Some of these threads may have been before the photobucket scandal so the pics may not show up. I think there is info on this topic in the stickies too.

Slightly different design in a few areas, but fitment looks like it would be drop in. No dremel or angle grinding required to clearance the inside of the factory mirrors, and looks to be much cheaper than other "kits" offered.
If you or somebody picks up a set from Cartrim, post back to the forum with your thoughts/review. Folks would be interested if it's a good alternative!

Just ordered this today actually. I couldn’t find anything online about it besides this post, but figured I’d give it a try. I’ll report back when it arrives and I get a chance to install it.

Pretty awesome that Car Trim Home has them for half the price as the forum member that was selling them here.

Interesting. So this is just the motor/folding mechanism? You will retain the turn signals, heated mirror, capability of installing MESO puddle pods?

oh, you mean the one who was dead-center in the controversy-cum-shítshow that totally alienated one of the forum’s genuine grade A good guy contributors?
what a waste. a real low moment for this place.

Yes I believe so. Saw this on CTH group and then I pulled the trigger.

Subscribing. For $200 this seems a no brainer as long as the install isn't insane.
Please let us know how it goes and how clear the instructions are.

If you join the CTH 4Runner Facebook group, there's someone who has installed it and has a video of it working. Said install took him 2.5 hours but probably could be done faster. I'm tempted to order myself...
