So we bought a 2018 CB Pro off of a local Toyota dealer CPO. It actually never hit the lot or website as we saw it on the back lot the day after they took it on trade. We were there shopping for a 2020 ORD and I just happened to see the color out of the corner of my eye. Being a 4runner fanataic, I knew immediately what it was and got very excited at the thought of owning another rare blue 4runner. We paid up for it, I think, but my wife loves it. 17k miles and in absolute perfect condition.
I also wanted to share our Carvana car selling experience. After seeing a post from someone on this site discussing how VROOM had offered them very good money on their '19 PRO, I decided to try my luck. My wife had a 2018 SR5P with 3rd row and 4X4. The car was in near perfect condition with 30k miles. Carvana ended up offering the most money we saw for it at $34,900. FWIW, the Toyota dealer offered $29k on trade-in. Carvana never asked for pictures of the car or any kind of clarification, etc. We just filled out the form online and they came back with an instant quote. 4 days later a Caravan car hauler pulled up in front of the house, loaded up the car, dropped a check and left. The guy who picked it up was at my place for not quite 10 minutes and never even drove the car. I can't believe what kind of money they paid for it and how easy it was to sell it to them. I'm anxious to see what they list it at as I can't imagine there is much margin to be made. The tires were cupped and would have to be replaced to retail it.
