I used to run 17x8.5 -10 Ray10s with 285 KO2s, a 3/2 lift and only 2 degrees of caster with stock UCAs. Did not need a BMC and I offroad a decent amount. Did have to trim the front bumper and relocate the fender liner, though.

My buddy also currently runs the same setup, but with 4 degrees of caster and also does not need a BMC. In fact, he hasnt needed to do anything. No mud flap removal, no trimming, no fender liner relocation. Not really sure how...

I guess it'll be luck of the draw.

Hmmm well I'm not an insurance expert by any means but I doubt it. This question has been brought up before in similar threads. I suggest reading around and forming your own opinion.

As far as messing with the "structural integrity" ... simply put you're not. The body mount has all that additional metal to help slow the wheel from pushing into the cab in a collision. The part you cut off is after the body mount and doesn't support the cab at all. Does this increase your chances of getting hurt in an accident? Possibly but prob not. A gamble I have taken with not much after thought. People get squirrely about cutting up a 35+ k truck which is understandable but it's been done on many vehicle for years. If it was a huge issue I think we would read/see more about it.

they have a thread in the vendor section here, where they post the updates on stock a few days ahead of time. If you subscribe to the thread, you'll get an email when he updates it. That's how I bought mine. Based on reading threads on here about them selling out in one minute, I got my cart and payment all setup and clicked buy a few seconds after he posted them on the site. got my whole transaction done in less than a minute. BUT, it was in early May, and I think due to the pandemic unemployment and bad economy, they ended up being available for a couple days.

Thanks ! I think I found the thread. Someone shared it here in one of the comments. I subscribed to that one! Crossing my finger they restock soon. Wondering if they will ever take the F5 in white again

17x8.5 F5s here with 285/70 and Dobinsons 2.5/1.5

Did the fender liner mod, trimmed a little off the inside part of bumper, and removed front mud flaps. No BMC and no problems.
