winch install question

Hi, the question for people with SSO slimline bumpers. I have SSO slimline bumper installed for a while and decided to add a winch. Do i need to remove the bumper in order to mount a winch or I can mount it in with the bumper on.
Thanks

Watching for answers.
Though I would imagine it would be better to remove the bumper

Definitely needed to remove on the relentless lopro bumper. I'm assuming it's the same for you.

THIS^^^
Mine is not SSO, it's a Victory, but I cant imagine trying to add a winch with the bumper still in place. I have a Smittybilt 12K and I had to relocate the solenoid...just not enough room.

Yes, doesn't sound good if I have to remove it. Will need to find a shop to do it.
