Remove tow hitch

The search function here is not very good. Are there any write ups on how to remove the OEM tow hitch on a 5th gen? Mine has a lot of rust and I want to sand it and paint it.

Thanks!

It's pretty straight forward. Just the 4 bolts and it comes right off.

I would get under there and soak the hardware with PB Blaster or Kroil or whatever flavor of penetration oil you like and let it sit for a few days before removing it. Even one East Coast/Midwest winter is enough to really corrode them.
