The only issue I forsee would be that the URD SC instructions warn about not going below 1/4 tank because the pump has the ability to drain the sump area faster than can flow into the sump area at low tank levels. I haven't put an air bubble in the fuel line yet, but I'm pretty religious about not going below 1/4 tank unless I'm driving sedately in town and flatland Ohio.

Ok thanks for the info. Maybe I’m just overthinking everything and need to just get the recall done with the OEM pump and call it good.
