Finally a 4Runner RC
Came across this newly released Enduro Trailrunner. Looks like we finally have a RC Crawler with a 5th Gen body. Unfortunately not licensed but definitely close enough for me. Looking forward to repainting it Voodoo Blue

My old AE RC 18MT died after 15 years. This may be a good replacement. Been looking at a Traxxas ERevo 1/16 brushless. Have to decide on rough off road or fast off road.

I've been enjoying mine. I just took it to the beach yesterday. I think it's time for some maintenance, though. It's starting to get squeaky.

I think Associated did a great job. It even has IFS which most RC crawlers dont. I really want one but money needs to go into the real thing first lol.

I've been following this guy on Instagram who designs his own 3D printed bodies and sells them. His 5th gen 4runner looks pretty accurate. Also has 3rd gen 4R, 3rd gen Taco, and is working on an FJ. @manitou liu on Instagram

RC trucks are great for the times when you can't get out in a real T4. You can do wild stuff you would not consider in the real one. Just flip it back over and continue or pick it up and move it.

Am I seeing it correctly? $220 for just the body? It looks really well done but wow. Maybe I'm a cheapskate but wow.

2019 Nautical Blue SR5. Mostly stock but a few mods: Borla muffler, blacked out badges, removed the running boards, painted the silver roof rails with bed liner, painted the wheels gloss black, Weather Tech window deflectors. AFE replacement air filter in stock air box & removed the charcoal after filter, DC Sports exhaust tip. H11 to H9 headlight bulb swap. 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires, Sprint Booster, 1" Cornfed leveling lift.

I just WD40'd my little Trailrunner this evening. It developed a squeak while on the beach last weekend. I drove it a little bit around the yard, and it sounds great. I'm hoping it lasts a long time
