Someone in my local T4R group posted that these are available for 5th gen. I havent been able to find much info on them. Was wondering if anyone here may have some information. All I could find was a generic photoshopped picture. Looks like no kick out though. I’m very curious though as the pricing seems pretty cheap, $187 per rail at my local dealer. (yes they sell them individually)

I called a couple local Toyota dealers and they said they could get them in about 2-3 days. One asked for my vin and then said they wouldn’t fit my 2018 SR5. They fit just fine!

**UPDATE**

Ok guys, I just finished installing mine and EACH RAIL BOX CONTAINED HARDWARE. So I didn't need to order the hardware, even though I ordered two bags (one for each rail).

Install took about 30 minutes by myself. I found if you remove the brake line screw closest to the rear bracket it allows you to move the line a bit and get a good angle with the socket.

All you need is a 12mm socket for this install, I used two jack stands to set the rail on to get them into position. I started with the rear most bracket, and the bottom hole. Then went to the middle bracket (only one hole) and then the front bracket, bottom hole. From there I snugged them up a bit, but not too tight. Then I inserted the front upper bolt, and then the rear upper bolt. While pushing up on the rail to get it as high as I could, I then snugged them down tightly.

interested in this as well, msrp shows $259 and a quick search best price I've seen so far is $200-205 range. Would like to see an actual picture of them on a 4runner but looks good from previous pic.

Looks like the N-Fab RKR rails w/o the steps.

I left the steps on mine during a week-long camping trip in CO, where we did: Medano, Stony, Ophir, Imogene, Black Bear, and Pearl passes. I think I got the most scrapes and impacts on the steps on Pearl; the driver-side step has a small bend, but it's still solid and holding up (I also got a huge dent in the factory fuel skid).

For additional context - the N-Fab RKR rails & steps was part of the Off-Road Upgrade package that my region sold. The package also included blacked out emblems, TRD PRO wheels & tires, and carpeted & all-weather floormats, and all-weather trunk mat. We had an SR5 w/ the T-Force package where it also had the N-Fab RKR rails, but the owner left the steps off.

They will fit, i ended up installing these on my buddy's 2016 SR5

Any chance you have some images of them? I'm wondering how beefy the mounting is.

Frame mount or side step/body mount?

Can these be installed with no drilling/modifications? I would imagine so as offered by Toyota

Mind blown 🤯. These have been standard equip. On Rubicon for a while. I think Toyota finally knows they are WAY behind in the off road world

Yer tellin me that I can get new OEM sliders for under $400?

Even if I had to drill to modify it would still be worth it.

Interesting, but if they have the same specs as the N-FAB sliders I'd be concerned about how much protection they'd actually provide:

N-FAB
.120" wall and 1.75" tubular steel

As compared to Shrockworks
2" square tube with a 0.1875" wall and 1.75" x .0.120" round tube

Your going to have less underside protection with the N-FAB sliders for sure but at roughly $450 for the OEM vs $775 for the Shrockworks they may work
