Swag bar bracket relocation?

Getting that clunking noise which all my forum searching says look at the sway bar bushings first. Found Billet bracket/bushing relocation kit which moves them forward.. and claims to be beneficial for lifted vehicles. I’m up 2.5” on the front and 1.5” rear with my Dobinsons lift.

Has anyone used this kit or done something like this with success? It’s $100 compared to probably $30 for new bushings.

I used them but had a bad squeak going over bumps. Turned out to be the sway bar rubbing on the coil-overs. This, I believe, just moves it forward to solve that problem. Check to see if there is contact there. If not, I'm not sure moving it would help your situation.

Thanks for the reply. In general it seems like the sway bar bushings are usually the first "best" option to replace when you start hearing clunking going over potholes and sharp dips. This is more of a metal on metal clunk and not squeaks. I'll shoot them an e-mail. Cheers.
