Tire Mfg Date Help

So I took my 4R in for a balance as it was running strange at highway speeds and found out according to Toyota my new BF KO2's are from 2011. I took a look at the mfg date on the tire and it reads 7111 (picture below), however, last time i checked there are not 71 weeks in a year. Can someone help me understand when my tires were actually mfg before I go to the shop that sold and installed them?

Thanks.

isn't that strange? I entered your code into Checktire.com and it came back with an error, you cannot exceed 52 as it is for weeks in the year.
Maybe someone screwed up the mold on a batch there. Either way, the year on there should be accurate, so I would bring it back and tell them you got sold a 9 year old tire.

Look in the same area on the other side of the tire. The date code is there.

This.

That's the DOT number in two parts. Date code is on other side.

The first four letters/numbers after DOT indicate the manufacturer & plant code and the tire size code.

The next set of four letters/numbers indicate the manufacturer's identity or construction code. It is a little confusing that they chose to use all numbers in your case (thinking it might be the date code).

These eight letters/numbers are what you are reading on the sidewall of your tire as they are currently mounted (facing outwards).

As suggested by @Sky the date code (final set of four numbers) will be visible on the other side of the tire.

Thanks everyone. The date was on the other side - had to crawl under the car. But they are all 2020 tires, which is great. Still need to get them road balanced, but at least I don't have to get new tires.

KO2 tires were not made until the end of 2014. I got one of the first sets made in 2014.
