Some people are super psyched about how much they will be able to sell their new car for 2 years from now. Silly.

Hey, nothing wrong with valuing a good depreciation curve (and god knows, there are plenty of vehicles that drop like a rock, especially when comparing it to a Tacoma, 4Runner or Wrangler). Gives you options down the road if and when you want to exercise them.
I do agree that freaking out over a specific color and resale value is silly though .
4Runners hold value exceptionally well. TRD Pros hold value arguably even better than your average 4Runner. That being said, I was actually told by a dealer that TRD Offroads hold their value the least for trade in purposes since they are most often beat on . Not sure if that is really true though!

It probably depends on whether you're trying to trade-in an Offroad or not ;)

If you go through cars every few years then residual value will be a factor. Toyotas hold value extremely well and if you plan on trading in for a new model you can't go wrong. I bought a used challenger RT years ago and traded it in about a year later, actually made money on it.
I'm holding off for either next gen 4runner or tundra. Will probably keep the 4runner and retro fit the new led headlights.

I just bought a Lunar Rock 2021 Tundra TRD Pro last night. I wasn't sure about the color at first when I saw it on the lot the first time. I saw it again at another dealer and really liked it. Now that I bought it I love the color. It looks like a different color depending on the light and the angle you look at it. A lot of times I think it looks like the cement FJ I had, other times a little more greenish.
I had a black 2015 Pro (leased) then a black 2018 Platinum (leased) and I liked this new one so much I decided to buy it instead of lease.
Don't hesitate getting it, trust me - black sucks to keep clean and it's not worth it unless you like to wash a truck. White does nothing for me as it looks like a regular Tundra and/or a work truck.
Sorry the picture is not the best, I didn't get back from the dealer until well after dark and I ran out pretty early today to take the pic.

Looks pretty good on the Tundra.
I have felt the Pro colors have a bit of a different look across thee 3 vehicles though (for instance, I do not care for AG on the Tundra or Tacoma as much as the 4Runner).
Need to see it on a 4Runner with my own eyes.

It's a great color, people need to see it in person! It's on my list for my future 4Runner when it comes time.

I was in for service this week on my 2020 AG Pro. First oil change and state inspection. Also had the alignment done because I added the Eibach springs for the fox suspension. I was chatting with my salesman I deal with. He said they have a 4runner Luna Rock coming in. There were 2 people interested and turned it down. I could have put my name on it. No way. Just received my title about 3weeks ago. Paid off. The AG is not going anywhere. I don’t like payments.

Looks great, man. I just put myself on the waitlist for a Lunar Rock 4Runner. I was on the fence at first about the color until I checked out a Lunar Rock Rav-4 at the dealership. It looks great. I liked Cement, and I like this even better. They're telling me December at the earliest. Can't wait.
