Hey guys, my name is Alex and I do Morimoto conversions to a bunch of vehicles, one of them is the new 2021 4Runners. I have a couple sets of the new LED headlights with matching LED fogs that have less than 100 miles on them and it sounds like some of you might be interested in purchasing them. Since I'm a new member, I cannot post in the classifieds yet. If any of you are interested, send me a private message with your phone number and I'll get in contact with you. This set I'm showing is off a Trail Edition so it has low beam LED and high beam halogen. The only modification necessary was to transfer the low beam connection from the Morimoto to the Toyota, that has been completed already. I would suspect that these should be plug and play now since the morimoto's just plug in to the 4Runners. We have installed a set into a 2017 halogen equipped model without any problems, but your vehicle may vary.
We are charging $1000 shipped for a complete set of headlights and foglights.

Actually, I'm used to forums having private messages, but since I don't see that as an option here what would be the best way to let everyone know when I have a set available? I should have 1-2 brand new sets available every couple weeks.

There are PMs on this forum. I can't remember if there's a certain amount of time or posts etc for it to activate for your account.
Anyway, have you test fit any of these on a pre-LED model? I see a mentally logical conclusion about the connector, but the question will be do they actually work??
Also. HOW MUCH???
Also, what shop do you work for?

There must be a minimum amount of posts that I just haven't hit yet.
We did already install a set into a 2017 halogen model and it worked great! I didn't know if I could post pricing with this not being a classified add, but we are charging $1000 shipped for a set of headlights and foglights.
I updated my first post to reflect this information as well

Sorry, let me make sure I understand. Have you modified the lights you are selling to plug into existing harnesses on older models? I might be dense but I want to make sure I read the above correctly.

Ok so ...
Are you saying you modified a pre 2021 non-LED headlight and added LEDs?
Or
You have modified a set of 2021 OEM LED head lights to plug into the harness of pre-2021 4Runners ? If so what did you do?
Or
Something else.

These are 2021 OEM LED headlights that had the low beam plug changed out to work on a pre-2021 4Runner

At first you had my curiosity, now you have my attention.
Can you post some pics of the modifications you made?

If you can do that on 2021 Pro/Limited models (which have LED low and high beams) I'd try a pair.
And if they work, you'd have a fair bit of demand, I bet.

It's wild that purple are so quick to pay $1500+ to swap in aftermarket Morimotos on their brand new truck with OEM LEDs. The Morimotos work all right, but if the Tacoma headlights are anything to go off of, they have narrow low-beam patterns and very poor high-beam performance (several times worse than even stock halogen reflector). Using a single projector for the high beam is not a great choice of design. A factory halogen lamp with H9 bulbs has nearly the same low beam performance (with a wider pattern) and much better high-beam performance. And the OEM LEDs are MUCH better in every aspect.
