Your existing DRL/high-beam bulbs in the reflectors (9005) will work exactly as they do now. In order to activate quad high beam, you will need to connect the LED projector shutters to a 12V source in order to trigger them. But, you must be careful that you don't directly connect them to your existing high-beam wiring. In DRL mode, they will flap the shutters rapidly, likely wearing or destroying them.
See my post above.

I will say, the OEM LED low beams are probably the best lights I've had on a vehicle, very bright and perfect cutoff angles.

I would say that they're at least catching up to current technology. What cars have you had before?
The big halogen reflectors in my 2012 Tacoma were some of the best stock headlights I've ever had. The little squinty halogen projectors in the 4Runner were awful. Slightly better with a H9 bulb upgrade, but these are definitely a huge improvement from there. Data shows double the intensity, in fact.

As a Taiwanese American, I have to disagree with you on that.
Coplus is a Taiwanese company, not Chinese. Big difference here as Taiwanese companies tend to care more about the quality and R&D, while communist chinese companies are just ripoffs and give no F about quality.
That said, would I run Morimoto over stock LED? heck no lol

Morimoto headlights are made by Chinese company Coplus. Morimoto just imports and rebrands them.

Apologies for the misclassification! I'm generalizing importers like Morimoto and Alpharex all in the same category, which is not correct. Thanks for the clarification.

So far the best source is from people who are swapping to aftermarket. Most sets are practically brand new with few miles on them.

Do you have to remove the front bumper to remove the headlights?

2016 limited. Do those have a different set of lights than the others? I'd like to get a pair of OEM's but heard the limited's have different setups. Thoughts?
