TSS-P and Apple Car Play, I think that’s it.

I went 19 to 20 too. Great upgrade. The never removing the key from your pocket is great. The updated screen between speedo and tach, CarPlay, digital two zone, new gauges, remote start..

I believe auto-highbeam is another feature and you have buttons to roll down the rear window from the hatch.

Good call. And onboard control of convenience features that you need a programmer to do on previous years. When doors lock, DRL settings, etc.

Trading in 19 on 2020 Venture
I also greatly prefer the instrument cluster on the 2020s as well. Looks cleaner and more modern IMHO. On the downside the aftermarket haven't caught up on some stuff like light bar mounts and fuse panel mounts and such. The TSS sensor and relays/fuses are in the way of some of that stuff. That’s really the only downside I can think of.

US Ventures don't get the 2 zone climate control unfortunately. Still the manual system, which I actually prefer personally.

My 2020 Venture is a US model, doesn't have remote start. The keyless entry is nice though.

Other than the upgraded headunit, it seems like an overall downgrade to jump from a TRD to a Venture.

The Venture is a TRD Premium with a few extra cosmetic items so no downgrade.

Yes it's essentially a TRD ORP. Still not worth the jump to me. But the headunit is nice.

Doesn't seem worth it unless some great deals occur.

I have a 19 TRD ORP. one of my family members has a 2020 RAV4 with all the safety sense and Apple/Android stuff. I've been driving it alot lately, mostly to try and see if I wanted to upgrade to 20.
I think the Apple carplay is nice, and definitely better than the POS Entune system, but it's annoying that you have to plug in the phone to get it to work. The auto headlights and auto wipers are awesome, and I REALLY wish I had the heated steering wheel. The radar cruise control is great.
The lane assist thing sucks. it doesn't work half the time. it constantly beeps at you and says UNVAILABLE HOLD STEERING WHEEL. The dual zone climate control is annoying, as well, I seriously prefer the more basic, traditional setup in the 19. I haven't used the 20 4runner dash, but the RAV4 dash actually has too much info and is hard to read at a glance to find the pertinent numbers.
for my elderly family member, and for folks that can't stop looking at their phone while driving, the collision avoidance stuff is great. It's already prevented two minor wrecks for my fam member.
personally, I prefer my 19. I like it that it's more simple and the controls are easier to see and use at a quick glance while driving. I do wish I had the Apple Carplay, radar cruise, heated steering wheel, and automatic lights.

For what it's worth, the 2020 4Runner doesn't have lane keep assist, it has lane departure warning. While cars with lane keep assist will actually turn the steering wheel to keep you in your lane (and complain when it thinks you don't have your hands on the wheel) the lane departure system in the 4runner doesn't have the capability to steer the car at all (probably due to the hydraulic, rather than electric, power steering) and just beeps when it senses you departing the lane. I really only use it if I'm on the highway and feeling a little tired.
