A 285/70-17 will also fit in the spare tire well.
Thanks man, that pic helps.....because it looks very similar to my 2020 TRDP which is also black. Not that the color matters but it makes it easy to tell what mine would look like on 285’s with OEM wheels.

I think it’s settled.

I’m surprised to hear a 285 will fit the spare wheel well. That was one thing I’ve read on here that would not be possible.

I know if I go with 285’s I’m keeping my spare with my stock 265 tire. I have not come across any post about keeping that as a spare if you get a flat. All these other car manufacturers put these small spares in the cars for a flat which are smaller than your tire. And a 285 is not that much bigger than the 265 if you would need to throw it on to get home if you had got a flat.

Curious but did you notice any differences with the Eibach springs v. OEM springs in terms of stiffening the ride or a little less lean while cornering?

Or is it pretty much the same, just lifted a little?

Its definitely a firmer ride. Cornering is flatter and nose dive is better. It also almost completely cured my hood bounce which I now attribute to the angle of the rake. I would say the only downside I have found is speed bumps are a little harsher. I will take that trade off any day.

@DallasTRDPro for one who has a TRD ORP who wants to get your look, I would need to get 2.6 inches of lift in the front and 1 inch in the rear? Is that correct?

Did you install yourself? I was thinking about installing my Wescott Kit with my son here at home. Thanks.

Curious to know if anyone who has installed either the Eibach or the Westcott solution has measured the effect on clearance (stock on a Pro being 9.6" I believe, although I have never measured my own vehicle). To me that is what matters the most.

Since I put on snow tires every year (and they're only one season old) I'd be keeping the 275's for a long time because I assume it would be a pain to go back and forth between 275's and 285's twice annually.

Now that you have had the Eibach Springs for awhile, is there any more update? Any noticeable changes besides a firmer ride?

Also goes for anyone else that has this mod...anything to report, either positive or negative?

I have about 2000 miles on my 2020 Pro since I added my Eibach springs and 285’s. So far it seems the same since it was done. I love the look. It still rides and handles better than the stock springs. All I keep getting is compliments on how good it looks. The only way I’m putting back on my stock springs is after I get a lot more miles on it for some reason the ride starts to go way and the handling. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input, really appreciate it! I’m not a wild rock crawling kinda guy, but after having my Pro for a few months I would like some more ground clearance. Any other suspension than what comes with the Pro would be wasted on me lol.

No problem!! I don’t off road myself. Mine is for looks which I like and also for the bad winters we get here. Nice having a good 4wheel drive vehicle. It’s also nice for traveling with all the extra room.

They dont work on 2021 trd pro shocks. Toyota redesigned the ends of the coils.

I believe Eibach just had a 2021 Pro in to do testing for the new springs. But I think Mark said it will be 10 to 12 weeks till they have them.

Who is this Mark and how do I get a hold of him? I have a 2021 TRD Pro and was looking at the Eibach Springs over the Westcott Designs kit (the preload basically is compressing the spring more to give that lift and for off-roading, it likely will compress to 100% much sooner even if it bumps out first; meaning, the spring travel length is reduced). I think with the Eibach Springs, you get the lift and ground clearance, you get the stiffer on-road drive w/ reduced nose-dive, but you still have the full length of the spring to travel when compressed 100% off-roading.
