Arrow Extended travel with KDSS questions

Bought my 17 ORP with KDSS and it already had a lift installed. Currently have C4 UCAs w/6112 front with 700lb springs. 5100 Rear with Dobinsons springs. Keep in mind I have never driven a stock 4r so I dont have much to compare it to. As it sits the ride feels a bit stiff. Theres very little body roll and almost no nose-dive and I like that aspect of it.

After looking at various other options I see some brands offering ext. travel fronts. My understanding is that ext. travel only means more down travel correct?

If the above is true, Im concerned about how it will affect KDSS and CV angles long term.

Extended travel front adds around 1 inch of down travel. It should not have a significant effect on KDSS, but KDSS system may limit the down travel in some situations (it may also help down travel in others situations). The difference between normal and extended travel is insignificant for ride quality unless you're almost maxed out on static height.

The best thing you can do for ride quality is to get closer to stock suspension height. That's true regardless of KDSS or not. The higher you go the worse the ride quality will get.

You can get more rear travel if you install this. Then you would probably want extended travel shocks.
