Prinsu full length and moonroof

Just ordered a Prinsu full length, no-drill rack and I'm curious what the experts here think regarding the crossbars over the moon roof - install them or don't?

I can see pros and cons either way.

What did you end up doing, why, and how's it working out?

I've got the same rack installed on mine and have zero issues with the bars installed over the moonroof. I didn't lose any functionality(open, tilt or slide).

Thanks for that!

How's the wind noise? Also, did you cut the weather stripping to install the front brackets? I've seen comments regarding the supposed ability to install the brackets under the weather stripping, but haven't seen any pictures or actual confirmation that it is truly possible.

Prinsu full length installed and same thing with me. Zero issues with full open, tilt, etc functionality with all bars installed.

For the non drill full lenght, you trim a section of the gutter stripping where the little bracket installs with double sided tape.

Currently I do not have any crossbars over the sunroof since I don't have the need for them most of the time. I actually bought few extra crossbars from tnutz.com to add them over the sunroof as needed.
Also, you do not have to cut the weather stripping to install the front brackets. I did not cut them an it is not noticeable unless you're up there looking for it.
I can take a better pic for you if you would like.

Interesting. So it looks like you somehow worked the L brackets under the weather strip - is that correct?

If so, how did you do that exactly? Just pry it up a little in the needed area and then push the brackets under?

I'm trying to figure out if I should go that route or just cut it and replace the sections where I can.

The weather-stripping comes off very easily. Instead of cutting it just goes over the foot of the L bracket.
