Is the shelf quick detachable when removal is necessary?
ETA: Never mind, just watched the install video.

A couple of friendly observations I'm curious about.
First the size looks great compared to others on the market. And the price with the discount comes out to about the same as the Orange Box regular price.
1. Could the entire panel be cut a little smaller or spaced a little further to prevent the need of the molding strip on the edge? (imo, it just looks bad)
2. If a longer bolt is used for the OEM Hanger mount, could the OEM Hanger still be retained (like several other designs do)?
3. The video didn't specify, but is the lower cargo net hook able to be reattached?
4. The photos look like it's is very flush with the trim, is there enough room to get your hand behind it to secure attachments, or clean the dust off the window?
5. This is just an idea being tossed out there - but I'd love to see someone design one of these that uses a bracket that allows for the OEM Cargo Cover to still be used, such a shame no one has done this.
I'm glad to see more of these coming to the market for sure!

So looks like the competition to this is Victory. The Victory one looks wider (27") but doesn't allow for the back seats to recline. How wide is the Cali Raised one?

This.
Zero reason that the panel can't be designed to not rub on the factory interior pieces.

Interested!
1) What's the lead time on these?
2) Will the final production ones still need the "edge guards" on the curve like in the pics?
3) Is there a T4R discount code?
Thanks!

How much weight could you put on the shelf? I imagine the shelf itself can hold PLENTY but at a certain point it's gonna put too much stress on the side panel mounting points?

Sorry for the late reply! I am not on here on the weekends and play catch up Monday morning.
1.On our initial test ones, we did require the edging but now they don't touch any plastic anymore so we are good there!
2. The panel does not use the factory hanger on the top mount. You can simply hang things from all the molle cut-outs. We chose to do this because the factory hanger because when you tighten the panel down, there is a good chance you will break the plastic hanger.
3. No the cargo net hook cannot be re-attached, the hardware is in the way. However, you can hook the cargo net to the new molle panel if desired.
4. The panel is a tight fit, there is not room for you to reach your hand behind it. We opted to offer a larger panel that installs very easily. You can take the panel on and off with 3 quick fasteners, clean or attach anything you need and then put it right back in place. We found it was actually faster to remove the panel, attache your gear and put it back. When trying to do it on the vehicle, it can be very tedious and a pain.
5. Sorry no cargo cover. The basket is a cover. There are always compromises when making changes to factory configurations.
Please let me know if you have any questions or please message us on our site for immediate assistance.

The basket is 16" deep and does allow the seats to recline.

We put a 130lb human on there, we don't recommend exceeding that weight. The basket is ideal for all your dry goods like blankets, sleeping bags, dry foods and other things that are not heavy and that you don't want rolling around on the ground.
