I have a 2012 4Runner LE with only
25K miles on the clock! I was very surprised to learn that my rear break pads wore out with 15K miles on them; No extra loads on the truck e.g. Boat, Camper, equipment or rear passengers in it; just me!
But the rears wear out, due to the extra work brought on by the VSC, ABS, Skid-Control...etc! So I started turning them off around town; ...that's gotta be creating gas mileage issues...(?)! Something to think about!
