Good to know. Waiting on my Alpha rack to arrive. Anyone have photos of their setups? I knew we needed a rack to carry more stuff but debating what else to toss up there.

thanks!

Just checking in if anyone used the RA spacers on their uptop rack? Im thinking of going that route too...it looks like the height can be adjusted to match any brand of roof rack and looks cleaner and more water tight than the stock uptop mounts.

I think the RA spacers are "New PETG plastic spacers" which is pretty much 3d printed plastic. Im not sure how reliable they are for long term but Im not risking it.

I ended up using the supplied aluminum feet that came with the Bravo rack. I did however used butyl tape to seal the feet into the roof top itself. Theres some gaps where the bolt meet the rack mounts with washers so I added silicon there to seal up everything so nothing can drip/run down into the bolt.

I've also got traction boards and stuff that don't help, so I live with it. There is a bit of a squeak from the front right foot, but that seems to be an adjustment issue. I also don't want the truck much so a lot of things make noise. Haha.

I did not install the handles, because they're a) complicated to tie (I was too tired), and b) couldn't find a real benefit. You can either grab the rack or the handle mount if you need to. Has worked 100% of the time for me.

Those are my thoughts at the moment.
I have found that mounting the front bar all the way forward reduces a lot of the wind noise.

I'll have to go take a look. There is a light bar mounted to the front, so not sure how far forward I can go. Thanks for the tip, though.

I did fix the noisy right front foot. 100% an adjustment issue.

Also realize there was a typo in the OG post - I don't wash the truck, definitely want the truck. Oops.

Just got my alpha installed and I am so thrilled with it. It looks amazing. Top quality, easy install with great directions all hardware was labeled. My only gripe was the way they shipped, I ordered the paint matched outer rails and they just placed them against each other and wrapped in shring wrap which allowed them to scuff against each other damaging the paint. But i just put that side to the inside of the rack and you cant tell. Second, I am not a fan of the paracord to attach the grab handles, not interested in replacing once a year and in the desert sun I'd be lucky if it lasted that long, I solved that with some stainless cable clamps. Very sturdy and look better imo. As far as wind noise it isnt any louder than my trd pro rack was even with the sun roof open I cant hear anything. Overall I couldn't be happier!
