5th Gen BEST DITCH LIGHT BRACKET
I have been eyeballing the ditch light option for a while and would like to pool everyone's experiences with mounting bracket options.
From what I have read the set made by Rago Fabrication are true bolt on units with zero cutting or trimming required.
https://www.ragofabrication.com/coll...ditch-brackets
They seem like the best option available. If you have them and can confirm, or know of a better one I'd love to hear about it. A pic of them coming out of the hood showing clearances would be appreciated.

I have CBI ditch brackets and work fine for me. I didn't trim the plastic by the hinges. Instead I used a heat gun and heated the plastic to mold around the brackets. I will have to get pics because I can't find them right now of the plastic part. I don't have any hood gaps and ran the wire from one light through the hood and wrapped it. I just don't like that the bracket angles down. I have spot lights and not flood lights on the side. I'm contemplating a dual ditch light setup with both.
I don't know why these pics are sideways. Stupid phone.

@ Jhalko
. Yeesss I did the search and only CBI or 4 the gen stuff came up. Great info, and Ronin did a nice video. Again I'm looking to sort out the best option for a 5th gen from those that have them.
@ RyanEJ25
I like the way you ran the wires. Thank you for the great pics and your likes/dislikes of the CBI option.

Bought CBI for my fifth gen and was much easier to mount then when I had my fourth. Did it by myself within 20min
Good luck

FWIW, I have the CBI, as long as you don't mind melting plastic they are fine, the Ragi cost the same and don't require the cutting or melting, seems like a no brainer. You'll get better search results if you put 5th gen in front of the key words.

The best 5th Gen brackets are from Super Duty Headquarters. They are around $100 but require no cutting or melting plastic for them to work. They are beefier than CBI brackets and have a high quality powder coat with a laser etched American flag.
I originally ran CBI ditch light brackets then bought these to mount my Baja Designs XL Pros. The SDHQ brackets have more surface area to support light brackets and keep the lights from bouncing off-road.

Nice rig, that pic makes me want to loose the nFabs. So it looks like three options at this point, 2 that do not require cutting or melting. I did go to the Super Duty site but they only list Taco stuff..

Your right that they aren't listed on site yet. Give them a call and they will give you a slight forum discount too.

FlyingAMZ?
Anyone messed with these off Amazon. Been kinda playing with the idea of ditch light brackets, and came across these. Never heard of FlyingAMZ and there are no reviews. That doesn't instill a great deal of confidence.

I went with Rago Lo Pro Ditch light brackets. Super easy and fast install. No melting or cutting.

I had kinda planned on those. Actually, I was looking at the Cali Raised ones on Amazon, because I have gift cards, when I came across these at $35.

I got the SDHQ ditch light brackets too, they started to rust just after 4 months!
SDHQ also does not provide warranty on the powder coating so it was a waste of +120$ since I have to get them re-powdered on my dime.
