Installed 295/70R17 Mickey Thompson MTZP3
Recently installed Mickey Thompson 295/70R17 MTZP3 on SCS SR8 Wheels. Really stoked to say the least. My favorite tire size now as I have ADD when it comes to wheels/tires. Started with stock then lifted my 4R with 285/70 KM2 to 305/65 Deegan 38 to 285/75 Nitto Ridge Grapplers to now these 295/70. I'm officially done with changing tires out Thankfully I have a dealer account with 4WheelParts so tires are basically swapped out as I resell them for cost.

Nice! I did the same with STT Pro, no regrets. 3 inch lift, bmc and 4* caster. No rub, but I do have front plate bumper.

Looks awesome!! Keeps us posted on noise and how they perform. I have been debating these or the STT Pros in 295/70/17.

SCS Rims
I like those SCS rims. I am looking at the Stealth 6 without the bead lock. Weigh just 24 lbs.
The cost of tax and shipping drives the price up to $250 each. Other states may pay little or no tax, but not here in So Cal.
They're in Oakland, CA. Wish I could go pick them up. I may be up that way next week. Hmmm?

Looking good. I ran Mickey Thompson MTs on my FJ when I lived in HI.

I'm trying to decide between the same tires. Leaning towards MTZ but I don't think you can make a bad choice with either.

No issues with BL at all. I had to chop quite a bit of the BMC and a little bit of the inside fender where the mud flap used to mount. I'll post a pic tomorrow.
I actually wanted the STT Pros but couldn't find a dealer here on Oahu. What's interesting is Cooper owns Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek which both are sold at our local 4WheelParts but not Cooper. The STT Pros are literally a mix of the MT MTZP3 and Cepek Extreme Country:

Very nice. I love the width of 295 and larger. Looks good on your rig.
