Help me find a 17 x 7.5 wheel

I’m looking for a wheel that is 17x7.5, maybe 17x8 if I can’t find a 7.5. I want it to look very similar to my current wheels (black rhino York). If anyone has seen anything in that size, please let me know as I can’t find anything I like in those sizes.

Or something that will look good on my rig.

Current setup:

FYI: I got 17x9 expecting not to wheel hard on this rig... but I’ve gotten 2 leaks from sand already at around 14 PSI and I don’t want to go down much lower due to wheel width. I realize I’m wheeling Harder than expected and really should be going down to 10 psi but need a poor mans beadlock to be comfortable.

I was looking for the same thing, could not find anything to fit except factory Toyota. Closest I found to what you want are FJ steelies. For some reason, aftermarket wheels are 8.5" or wider.

Where was this taken? Reminds me of the Mojave desert.

Are you playing in Glamis, or Dumont?

FN wheels come in a 17x8, this would help with leaking. Method wheels are an 8.5" wide but have their "bead grip" which is supposed to help with airing down.

What size tire are you running?

The closest aftermarket wheels I found to those specs when I was looking last year was the FN pro at 17x8 and an American Racing Baja at 17x8. I’m still looking for used Fj Steel wheels at this point.

How about factory Toyota trail wheels and plastidip? Those are easy to find.

There's trail wheels in the for sale section right now.

I think you may want to look outside of the USA market. In most other global markets 6.5" wheels are pretty standard, so 7.5" aftermarket wheels would be easier to find than in the USA market.

Help me find a 17 x 7.5 wheel

I didn’t realize they make beadlocks so light nowadays. They used to be at least 50 pounds each. Found Black Rhino Primm beadlocks which claim to be 31 pounds. Info is limited on user reviews that I can find though. Will probably get these unless I find some bad reviews. They are exact same weight as my current rims

As mentioned, beadlocks aren't DOT approved. You might want to read up more on the Method bead - I've heard great things. All - New 702 with Bead Grip(R) Technology

About 3:30 he's testing at 10 PSI. At about 5:00 - 6:30 he's running 5 PSI with no issues on 35's.

Some beadlocks are DOT approved. You can google them. The most obvious ones are the OEM ford beadlock wheels that you can get on the Raptor. The Bronco will also come with OEM DOT approved beadlocks.

The other one I know of off the top of my head is the rock monster DOT wheels. The other option is the staun/secondair/coyote internal pneumatic beadlocks.

I have TR beadlocks on my JK for 6 years now. Never Had a legal issue...

Inner beadlocks look cool. Haven’t researched those before. Seems like a pain to install and adds about 6 pounds each though.
