C4 lo pro bumper need rci filler plate

Tried to search but did not see definitive answer. Would I need the rci filler plate if I have C4 lo pro bumper? Not sure if there will be gap with rci front skid. Thanks

There is a 3 to 4 inch gap between skid plate and bumper, leaving your radiator exposed. Keep in mind, while the rci filler plate will fix that, but you will have to modify (as in cut) the filler plate in half with a angle grinder to get it to work.

I don’t think the filler plate is a big deal unless u ocd. With that said, I modified the rci filler plate and am happy with it, but I’m ocd and I like the piece of mind that my radiator is fully protected

To get the best coverage you can get the TRD Pro skid plate and then use the RCI integration plate. The TRD Pro skid has that extra lip in the front that extends out and covers the blank area really well.

Do you have this setup on your Rig? would like to see a picture if you are bored enough to post one. Thanks!

I don't, I'm not personally running that setup but I've seen plenty of rigs on IG with the C4 lo-pro and TRD Pro skid. It looks like it provides the most amount of seemless coverage.

well the OEM TRD skidplate can reuse your OEM plastic filler plate, so there is no need for a RCI filler plate. However, the OEM filler plate is flimsy. I lost it crossing a washed out/ flooded road. So maybe just reuse the plastic filler plate until it decides to leave you for a new home in the wild.

The RCI filler plate is a nice thing to have, but its definitely not necessary other than for aesthetic reasons (which it was designed for) and added radiator protection (which is questionable at best and not its original intent).

I have the TRD Skid with Integration plate, but not the C4. Hopefully the pics in my thread can help you in deciding if it is what you are looking for.

Thanks! I see a few folks selling the TRD pro skid here in Colorado on Craigslist. Always something that catches my eye. Might consider it now. Glad others have stock skids that look just as beat up as mine! Like the Jedi plate in the front.
