Dozer’s 4runner thread of things and possibilities

I don’t have anything cool or great to add to the vehicle yet but after going through a lot of build threads and product reviews as soon as I move to FL it’s going to be tough to not modify this thing. For the time being I’ve done small things that make this already great vehicle a little better.

Here she is after first car wash! 2012 limited just over 80k miles. Needs some color correction and other derailing but not bad for an 8 year old vehicle!

First I took the leap on a new Scoshe Qi smart charger. I didn’t like any of the mounts available and wanted to keep the wireless charging from my last mount I had with more arm reach. After a few days of looking I came across this and although being 70 dollars it seems to be well worth it so far. Just make sure to let the adhesive cure for a full day like the instructions say. Routing to a peer source behind the passenger side moulding was easy looks good from the drivers side. Charging is great and hold the phone very well so far.

Took off the 1997 radio antenna and added a stubby one. Plenty of valleys where I live and have only heard static once, but to be hi eat I use XM and Spotify 95% of the time so most of it was for looks

Next thing I noticed was the lack of storage in this especially with the JBL system so I added this nice little Amazon find for the center console. Sturdy and plenty of room to run wired from the bottom to the tray if needed. No more digging for my glasses cleaner

Replaces the work and ugly shifter for something that makes it a little more comfortable to rest the hand on white driving

Reinstalled the hood deflector the previous owner had removed before sale and detailed the engine bay. Headlights had some oxidation on them so I wet sanded compounded and polished those as well

And lastly I made sure the pup got acquainted to her new ride and she seemed pretty happy to be there

Let me know if you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them. Thanks for coming to my underwhelming thread but have to start somewhere I guess.

Went with the TRD Roof rack off a 19’ and love it. Will work for small things and my inflatable SUP if I need to throw it up there.

TRD roof rack looks interesting on a pre-pre-facelift Limited.

Looks better than the chrome/silver that’s normally up there I think!

Got a great deal on the these wheels tires and TMPS, so I had to put them on! As well as the predator steps. Getting closer to the chrome delete all around as well. Slowly but surely
