Interesting feedback, I was wondering about the trim removal as well but it makes sense that they would snap back on, as long as you skip the accessory panel. Once that's on either the front or rear of the seat I could see how the trim would have to go or at least be cut.

I hate threads like this. I just end up spending more money on these little cool mods. My wife is probably mad at everyone on here. 😉

I recently installed these on both front seats. No need to remove or trim the plastic pieces because I didn't add the molle panels. That's where I think you get into a fitment issue with factory trim.
My wife didn't seem to think there was much difference for her, mostly because she is always concentrating on the 'riding like a truck' experience. But I definitely feel like it helped my ride and how I felt when I got out of the seat.

Ha... Mine too! It's the $100-$200 cheaper mods that get me everytime. Nickel and diming me to death over here!

LOL...Yup, I've done so many little tweaks like this I've lost track. I was exploring options to mount an extinguisher behind the passenger seat, accessible but out of the way and
boom..."seat jackers"...WTH
BUT...We have not heard from anyone that installed and did not like the results.

How are these with shorter people? My wife complains about seat discomfort/back pain in the front passenger seat. I think it's because her feet aren't firmly planted and she has to "reach" her legs out to support herself. I'm guessing if that's the case, these will make it worse? Any real word feedback from passengers?

I like the idea of seat jacker because I can't get the front edge of my seat high enough. Not sure if I'd find a use for the molle panel though.

Hey guys, I'm Steve with DesertDoesIt. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you out with anything.
@ HanginInUtah
@ comtn4x4
and
@ gsla72
are right, no need to trim if you're only installing the Seat Jackers. Trimming of the plastic caps is required if you install the MMP w/Seat Jackers or MMP w/Brackets.
Looking forward to contributing more.

I installed the molle panels for the front and back. I didn’t have to trim on the front to put the caps back on. I did have to trim the back caps as well as the husky liners.
They work great for me since my wife and I are “short” (5’10”). Took a day to get use to sitting higher.

Anyone after install find the increased probability of seat wear a factor? Didn't know if it raised the door-side thigh bolster high enough where it would be caught every time you got in or out

I put these in about 2 months ago, just echoing everyone above they have been great.
Took a little bit of in and out to figure out what was comfortable for me, the ability to raise the front of the seat an extra inch and keep the rear low was huge for me.
I'm about 6'3"+- and have a sunroof, so I was very concerned about headroom. These didn't seem to affect anything and helped with legroom/thigh support. Last week I rode in the passenger seat after hiking a 14er with a buddy.. the lack of leg support makes me want to order these for the passengers!

One Molle hold the jack. Yet to cut the trim pieces or vacuum.

Never knew these seat jackers existed... Missed the sale but just ordered them! Couldn't wait because I always seem to have problems with leg support.
