Also one thing I noticed is that while the driver and passenger seat controls APPEAR identical / mirrored, the passenger lower cushion control does not move up/down like the driver’s seat.

Not even in my Limited.

Because of this, the passenger seat sits 1” higher than my driver seat (at its lowest setting). This inflexibility explains my wife’s report that she can’t wear her hair up when she rides in this vehicle. Key word: passengers - does not mention issues when she drives it.

Wonder if there is a way to install a driver’s electric track, and if the lower seat cushion switch can be swapped out. The cutouts are identical.

Hmm…

I was so skeptical about this mod but now i am a Justin BIELEBER.... So i will admit I am a moron lol..

Anyways, enough of the self pity,

My legs were hurting due to being a old ass man, so i got desperate and cave in and i bought a chinesium model on amazon. If i die in a car accident, i'll be sure to update my review accordingly.

So yeah if you are tall, as in over 6 foot, this mod is a lifesaver. Basically, if you are tall, then your seat is already adjusted to the lowest setting, which means you completely lose the incline/decline cushion. The jackers raises the front, so it adds in 1 inch of incline/decline at the seats lowest setting. So now, even at the lowest setting, you are already in a more comfortable position, and if you so choose, you can adjust from there, although I was pretty comfortable with the built in 1 inch incline/decline.

This mod also adds more room for a fire extinguisher mount, because your legs are now sitting at a different angle. I use to smack my extinguisher with my man calves, but now i don't.

I was getting alot of nerve pain and butt pain and this helps alot in those 4 hour drives to costco, now i don't.

FYI, i still have my hemorrhoid pillow for those extra painful days

Its probably been said already but even cooler is the under the seat compressor mount that DDI makes if you have or install front and back seatjackers. Ive been eyeing this for a long time but their prices are too steep imo.

Lol, I think the compressor mount for the 4Runner only fits a single whereas for the taco it will fit a dual.

I’d put that under the passenger side if it can fit a dual, but yeah that’s pretty cool.

I have done the front only, driver and passenger side (with panels).

HUGE improvement on both sides. 6'2" here and got leg numbness previously - having the front of the seats higher was the ticket.

The higher seating position was noticable, but got used to it quickly. Not a ton of headroom left for me (ORP with sunroof), so cant imagine anyone 6'4"+ with a sunroof having an ideal situation.

Old thread, but was helpful to me so I’m bringing it back up and hoping it helps other newer folks.

I did my Seat Jackers install before any other mods, in October 2022.

Bottom line: it’s a game changer, just do it!
