Anyone painted the TRD Pro wheels?

I know there are black, gold, and steel gray options but curious if anyone has tried painting or powder coating the SEMA wheels a different color?

Large plastic center caps obviously present a scratching / chipping problem.

Any examples or pics of someone attempting custom colors? Or even just silver?

What other color would you want them painted? They already come in the best colors.

Dude, gold!

I would totally pc my rims that gold, but i have the sema rips which don't accommodate any other center cap other than the big bulky one which I think would look kinda gross in any color other than black (I hate the bulky center cap entire tbh)

Is that much different than the bronze ones they offer?

I would say it's a night and day difference.

(if this is indeed the OEM bronze offered)

Yeah, I probably would have gone with bronze if I had it to do all over again. I was just curious to know what they would look like in lighter shades... was hoping someone had tried so I didn’t have to do it myself.

My photoshop skills go about as far as increasing the brightness on the gray wheels, which actually provides a reasonably decent example.

You could always try either plastidip or the new spray wheel wrap to experiment with color in a non-destructive way.
