If you already took delivery they don't have to and unlikely to do jack about that. Don't ask how I know this. My cars stay as far from dealers as possible to avoid frustration such as yours.

sorry man-------I hate taking the 4runner in as there is always something that gets damaged. I have a limited, because I need all time 4 wd, and I had them mount new tires, and while removing the lug nut they basically destroyer the black finish on the rims surrounding the lug nuts.......on every wheel!

So if that piece is easy to remove, pm me and I swap and will send you mine........because I don't care anymore about the small stuff.
