Hi, just wondering when you got your 5100s. My supplier says back ordered until Feb.

Are you just running the 1in springs in the rear? Also, what wheels are you running?

Yep, just the 1" springs that came with the kit. Those are matte gunmetal Stealth Custom Series Ray 10's with 285/70 17 KO2s.

I think you'll like the Eibach kit. I know I do! I got the Stage 1 kit that does the 1 inch lift in the rear and 2.75 in the front. Plus I got the JBA uppers with the updated boot and the ride is AWESOME. The wife and I took it camping/exploring in the forest the very next day after everything was installed and I immediately noticed a huge improvement over stock. We load ~ 600 lbs of gear and things we use for camping and I didnt notice any sag.

I have the Eibach Pro truck lift and cannot be happier with this purchase. In terms of looks of your vehicle, the upgrade in suspension, or the overall increase in performance on/off road, i have no complaints whatsoever. I was originally looking at the 5100s as well but decided the extra money spent on the Eibach kit would be worth it in the long run.

With the JBAs, which ones did you end up going with? Also are you running them with stock wheels or aftermarket?

I can't speak for springs in either case. I ran 5100s on stock springs with a previous 4Runner and a Tundra. Liked them quite a bit. I have Eibach Pro Truck shocks on my current 4Runner with stock springs and love them. The dampening seems to be just a little bit more compliant, less abrupt.

Eibach and high caster standard JBAs. Worth every penny.

I have eibach springs and the 5100's in mine and I'm very happy with it. I probably would have gone full eibach had I done it all at once looking back. However I was also in the aftermarket parts business for 20 years with Eibach as one of our vendors and they have always seemed to have on again off again deals with shock manufacturers. I kind of suspect Bilstein actually makes their shocks. They may be different in the valving but if history repeats they may not always be available either.

I would definitely suggest upper control arms too. I run the JBA's on mine and I really like them. I actually just changed out the front lower control arm bushings with Whiteline Urethane and that made an enormous difference in tightening up the front end. It was a HUGE pain to do though. Now I'm looking into options for rear arm upgrades to match.

Eibach lift will be installed tomorrow !! JUST TO HAMMER THIS THING IN THE HEAD... SET AT ITS LOWEST PERCH it will give me the advertised 2.75” in the front and 1” in rear correct? No need to mess with the perch or clips..? Just throw it on as they sent it correct ? And alignment after.! Super excited.. will send pics once done ! Probably Thursday after alignment !!

I love my 5100 with Dobinsons combo setup.

That said, I have read nothing but good things about the Eibach kit as well.
