Also will be interesting to hear what you end up getting for alignment specs and if the front end has more or less rubbing with the wheel shift.

will definitely update

The guy that did the install on the FJ told me that the kit had the pivots 1" wider then his FJ is specced for.

I'm not sure if the 4runner is closer to FJ spec or Tacoma Spec
But i guess i will have the issue
His camber was 2-3 on both sides.

They didn't mention much of any issue fitting them, but i guess they will just bill me, shop already asked me if they could make all the small decisions with doing things to make it fit.

The lower arm pivot is mostly done. but i have other things being done as well.

Did you receive any feedback as to what needed to be modified? I am looking into doing this as well but the closest reliable shop to me is a Jeep specialist without any real Toyota knowledge and while there work looks to be top notch the more information I can give them the better. I reached out to JD Fabrication to ask if they knew what modifications would be necessary but they did not have any information. I have also searched, to the best of my limited ability, for the specific differences between the Taco and 4R Lca's but cannot find any specific info as to what is different between them.

UCAs with heim joints so they can be adjusted. I believe the 4runner like the FJ has the pivot points a bit more narrow then the tacoma. The guy with the kit on the FJ needed it the heim joint in the UCAS. I went with new UCAS with Heims to be on the safe side.

They also needed to relocated my swaybar even further up so that the sway bar links can be in the proper place. Not an issue for those removing the sway bar..

My shop specializes in raptors.. the 2 locating tabs in the rear of the LCA seemed to match up in the pictures they sent me. Just a lot of tedious work, it wasn't a hard install.

This is really cool, I look forward to seeing how this comes out. A bit more extreme than I would do for my daily driver but I love stuff like this.

Any updates on how this all came together? Handling, caster, and clearance? Looks like the only real change is needing to use the Heim joint UCA's for adjustability?

Truck is looking great @rayofsi

they are closed for 2 weeks... i think everyone knows what 2 weeks means by now

they are all done asides from a custom skid plate that goes from bumper to the back. will talk to them again when they reopen

Bummer on the closure, pretty awesome they are close to all wrapped up! Quite the build you've got going.

Don't forget you will need to relocate your sway bar even further forward. All finished.. but my freshly warranties rcv axles that needed new boots after 6 months, are getting sent back. They sent me defective warranty axles...

Also, could you take a picture from the side of the vehicle to show how much space between the tire and the body?

I bought a set new in the end of 2019. installed june 2020, sent back for warranty 12/2020, leaking boots so i bought new ones, and also something broke inside, installed again 1/2021, makes a noise when in 4hi/4lo, so they are sending them back again.
