Wow a shop did that install? That’s like first time I’ve never turned a wrench with no instructions to follow while being shit-faced bad. How the rear springs were not seated correctly is babytown frolics.

Sadly, this isn't unusual.

More scary are that there are DEALERS selling 4Runners with dealer installed lifts (at a massive premium) that aren't installed correctly and/or have shit missing.

I'm looking at you, Colorado Toyota dealers.

I just realized my profile still says I live in Denver. This install actually wasn’t in Denver. Anyways I’m not surprised some dealers are installing lifts incorrectly.

Just wanted to throw in a final update. Looks like the credit card company favored my side of things and it looks like all the money was refunded.

That's excellent news. Believe me this is nothing. Granted I only work on stuff pre-80's professionally but some of the things I have seen from other shops is frightening. There are a lot of shops out there doing repair work that shouldn't be working on skateboards. Yet unless something breaks and causes a major problem the majority of the public doesn't know the difference.
