Amerilite LED Tail Light

Does anyone have experience with these LED tail lights available on Amazon?

Amazon.com: AmeriLite for 2014-2018 Toyota 4 Runner LED Tube Smoke Black Replacement Tail Light Assembly Pair - Passenger and Driver Side: Automotive

They're cheaply priced compared to other LED tail lights (Anzo), but I worry about the quality. the lack of Amazon reviews also gives me pause.

If anyone has anything good or bad to share, I would greatly appreciate the feedback.

also available from CG on carid.com

the same lights also seem to be available from a manufacturer named CG on carid.com:

CG(R) 03-T414TLEDJMSM - Blac/Smoke Fiber Optic LED Tail Lights

there are no reviews available on this site either, so I'm skeptical.

You should definitely be skeptical. Tired of these knock off sellers trying to make a quick buck. I understand you might be trying to spend less for quality products but at the same time, if you can't afford a premium product then maybe it's not the right time for you to buy anything until you can afford it.

Toyota 4Runner (10-21): Morimoto XB LED Tails | Morimoto

Very expensive I know but sometimes it's better to spend more money on established brands whose products live up to their reputation compared to these no-name sellers who might have amazing reviews but little to zero information about themselves as a whole.

I mean
1. 800 for tails is just a stupid price
2. The morimotos are....ugly. Those two ovals in the middle are terrible.

1 - Understandable on pricing. It's a buyer's market and there's plenty of products to choose from. I'm sure you made a ridiculous purchase on something that most people find questionable.

2 - To each their own. I think it's more sleek looking than what OP posted because there is too much going on with their design IMO.

It's not like you are gonna look at the "tail lights" while you are driving, they are for the others to see.

Even $80 is still $80 too much for me, it's stupid.

bro, it's not about affording Morimotos. it's about being an informed consumer. These guys on Amazon may be trying to make a quick buck, but Morimoto is stealing hundreds from you by selling their overpriced, ugly garbage. Get off your high horse. Spending $800 for those is just dumb.

Hey dude - I didn't mean to offend you or anything with my post so you need to lighten up a little. I don't see how I offended you as I seemed to be respectful in my post(s) made on this thread so I'm kind of disappointed with your response.

I shared my thoughts about how spending more money for quality products is more feasible than buying products that are not as proven as quality ones and most likely have to replace them over time when that could be avoided if you had spent more money for the quality ones.

I'm not sure where you're located but do keep in mind USA is a country that believes in capitalism. All kinds of competition are welcome, including ones who may want to set premium prices for their products available to consumers. If you can't afford it or don't agree with the pricing, no worries man. Plenty of similar products out there. As I mentioned to someone else, it is a buyer's market and you are not obligated to entertain anything if you do not want to. No one is holding a gun to your head, after all.

Anywho - again, I did not mean to offend you in my initial post so I will bow myself out of this thread. I wish nothing but the best for you and your purchase if you end up purchasing the Amerlite tails where (fingers crossed) it will last you a long time.

Good luck.

I have these lights, they are made by spyder. they also oem for anzo it appears.

Many of us have the spyder version installed for a while now with no issues.

The morimotos are over priced.

thank god for alternatives to morimotos marked up lights.

these came out before morimoto btw.

Did you go black smoked? Or black clear?

About to take the plunge... any reason these wouldn’t be compatible on a 2021?
