These particular bulbs are bright as hell and have some aluminum heat sinking to minimize heat build up and a thermal fuse that opens up when the resistors do get too hot. Then the resistors are out of the circuit and you will get hyperflash until they cool down again. When I deliberately tested this feature on a hot day I ran the 4way flashers for about 10 minutes and they started to hyperflash. That's good to know. I installed the rear resistors, and it looks like all is back normal (way easier than the front). I hope that they don't start hyperblinking tomorrow. But if they start hyperblinking in May or after a long drive I'll know why. Thanks!
