Issue Wiring Rigid Pods to Aftermarket Switch

Hi everyone,

Having a bit of a problem installing an aftermarket switch for my Rigid Pods. I have this exact setup

HTML Code:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJPV6X9/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07FJPV6X9&pd_rd_w=0ONuw&pf_rd_p=7d37a48b-2b1a-4373-8c1a-bdcc5da66be9&pd_rd_wg=UdZ5w&pf_rd_r=AMK5X7KGXB1QH1V34KH3&pd_rd_r=c8d5132e-38f4-444a-aaf4-f12143bcd5af&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExVjUzT0FEMFZTSTNLJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjIxMzA3T09WQlRXTTgwMlQ2JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1MzQ0MzJDSzE0RDhCSVJWTUUmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWwmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
And am using this rather popular switch from ebay

HTML Code:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ditch-Light-Switch-Blue-for-4Runner-5th-Gen-2010-32mm-x-22mm/162533905663?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
I had the lights working with the original toggle switch, with the three deustch
connectors. But have had no luck with the new switch.
I connected the two red ends of the switch as I am not worried about the switch light being tied into the dash and just want them to toggle on and off. Currently, green I have hooked up to the red wire coming back out of the fuse. Black is black/ground and the two wires going from the pods are run to the combination of the red wires.

Any help would be very much appreciated, and I can send pictures or video for clarification.

When running anything thru a switch, I always use a relay.
See this pic and the link:

LED LIGHT BAR INSTALL on a 2014 T4R

Most of the time, switches with LED's in them are rated for 3A. You really don't want to run power thru them with out a relay & unfused, if at all possible.
The only thing I don't relay is my Engine Compartment LED Light Mod, but its still fused.

I hope this helps!
