Ordered 2" Suspension Lift... what's next?
Hello! I've ordered a Eibach Coilover + Rear Adjustable Spring/Shock Kit along with some Dobinsons UCAs; I'm going to adjust this kit to approximately 2 inches of lift all around.
What are some things that would save me headache before getting these installed? Is a 2" lift going to affect my suspension in ways I'm not expecting? I also bought a BMC plate just incase I need to fit larger tires in the future.
Mods are in my signature for an idea of what I'm currently working with. Thanks for your time!

Haha well that's a given!
Just trying to get ahead of any issues I'll encounter before/after the lift is installed. I've read alot, and I think issues only arise when trying to lift the front/rear over 2 inches, but I'm just making sure I'm not missing anything

Rehab.
At some point, you will end up in rehab to stop the mods.
Until then, I can quit any time I want to!

Maybe Bilstein 5100 or 5160 for the rear to handle 2 inches extra travel ??

The set comes with some rear shocks so I think I'm set! Thanks.

The 4Runner from the factory comes with a slight "rake", i.e. the nose is lower than the back end by about two inches. So, most people raise the front more than the rear, then the vehicle looks "level". Most people think it looks better that way -- more purposeful.
I used the Rough Country leveling kit which raised the front about 2.5 inches and the back one inch.

Thanks! I'll play around with it and see how I like it. Maybe 2" front with 1" rear will be the ticket.

Basically this honestly.
I did a similar lift last week then went wheeling this past weekend.
You'll learn real fast what you need or didn't need. It's fun to learn as you go.
I'd suggest a front alignment afterwards. I did but my friend did not. He noticed a slight pull and I noticed some slight positive camber

I'm starting to gather there's not much adverse effects for a 2" lift all around. I'll definitely get the 4runner aligned after the lift. Thanks!

Can you clarify what you mean by this? How are the rear springs/shocks adjustable?

LOAD-LEVELING SYSTEM (Rear) (For +250lbs of Added Weight)
The complete Eibach Coilover suspension kit 2.0 has adjustable height rear springs as well as a height adjustable front coilover. The shocks are none adjustable.
Above is a link to the height adjustable rear springs. Hope this helps!
