I like the contrast of black on silver and white. Doesn’t work well the other way on a black 4Runner, imo. And as others have stated, it is easier to touch up.

I agree with the others. Stick to black.

Personally I'm on the fence, the black bumper work with some colors but not with others ie: cement, quicksand, army green, lunar rock.
Maintenance will be easier in black.

The Lifestyle Overland rig was part of my inspiration for that look, and pics from rigs outside the US.
Several posters made comments about touch-up and maintenance and that's a concern since I do use the vehicle as intended. Black is much easier. Still on thte fence tho...

Thank you! This is the same configuration I'm setting up. I like it. As much as I wanted to do something different, I'm leaning towards the black. Ultimately it's more practical.

Recently ordered the victory 4x4 bumper with 2 swing outs, tire holder, hi-lift mount, and ladder attachment.
Can't wait to get it on.

Color matched steel bumpers always just end up looking weird to me. Trying to match powder coat color to standard automotive paint never works out as well as it should.
White can do it okay, but even that I don't care for.
Stick with textured black.

Black is more practical but color matching the ends making them look like end caps and having the center all black would look good imo. Since the center section will likely get beat up having the ability to touch up with rattle can paint makes keeping the truck looking tip-top easier.

This dude just moved from AZ no?
Someone out here was selling that exact bumper. I can tell because it's misaligned the same way.

He sold the truck as is about a year ago. Not sure who the new owner is.

Here's an example of a Land Cruiser in silver/silver and silver/black. I think silver and dark gray works for the color match (especially in front bumpers), but colors not so much. Of course, It's all subjective. In the above pics, I think the silver looks better. Maybe just because it's different as we are mostly used to seeing black aftermarket bumpers.
I'm trying to picture the Victory bumper on the 4R in silver and not able to visualize if it would look good or not. Definitely not looking for a mall crawler look, in fact just the opposite. The black victory bumper in the earlier post looked pretty good, so I'm leaning towards that.
The only example I've seen on a silver 4R is the Lifestyle Overland rig, which I thought did look pretty good. Thanks everyone for all your comments!
