I hate to even ask this Raptor light question but...
I have a 2019 4R SR5P. I want to install Raptor lights but do not want to buy the TRD Pro Grill or a facsimile. I see lights that say they will work and when I read the reviews, people say they won’t, then there seems to be a difference starting in 2020? I’m somewhat confused and only want to buy once.
So...what Raptor lights fit a 2019 4R SR5P?
Thanks

So Eddie,
What lights (be specific) are you interested in installing?
Where and in what configuration are you interested in?
Any lights (to some degree & limitations) can be installed, they just have to be wired properly.....
I have some installed on my current and on my previous build....no issues!

I want to install 4 lights in the top of grill with smoked lenses, I am still debating between white or amber but am leaning amber. I’m not worried about the install, I just want the diamond shaped lights that fit nicely in the grill.
Thanks

These clearly state that they will work---I think. I can't vouch for the quality. Just something I stumbled across the other day.
4Runner Raptor Lights — Overland Depot
oops...didn't read clearly enough. It looks like for a non-TRD Pro grill they will not work in the configuration that you want. They say you have to put them on each side of the logo.

2020 has been a year filled with tragedies.
Ken Osmond, who played Eddie Haskell on Leave it to Beaver, died earlier this year at the age of 76.

You'd have to mount 2 on each side of the Toyota emblem, likely they would be mounted right next to each other to make it fit. I don't see why there would be an issue other than it not having the aesthetic "look" you're wanting. But that's a preference thing, not a technical issue.

From, what I remember, the grill diamonds are the same.
The grill that came on my 21 has a chrome horizontal bar running across it or otherwise I could measure it to check.
Yes people here have installed them on SR5's. I have seen threads here with photos.
The design that I sent you in the second link is the same as what I used. The outer part fits over, not inside the diamond. The retaining piece on the back also fits over the back of the diamonds. They went on flawlessly, you just center them up and tighten.
Hope this helps.
