King Owners: What’s your desired ride height?

Shop didn’t check if my truck was leveled after installation, so I’m stuck nose low at 0 with a 2” rear lift until I hit 500 miles for retorque, realignment, and/or preload adjustment.

Even my Eiback Stage 1 had a higher lift at ~2.75”

How many turns did you do or how many inches did you increase? How’s ride quality?

Planning to go full steel skid & prinsu in the future, is it safe to go 2.75” increase for weight compensation and will it level out with the rear?

Thanks in advanced!

Not sure on turns but did you ask the shop to level it? If you did, then bring it back and get them to level it!

did you get the hooked tool to adjust preload? its wicked easy with it, a little different than the included straight punch. jack the front end up so tires are off the ground, loosen set screw, start adjusting.

i did 8 full turns from 0, maybe a couple more on the passenger side. so its about 1/2" of thread showing. I believe its around 2.5" of lift. i'm pretty much level/barely nose down with my rear end which is wheelers 1.5" lift springs. the ride is fantastic. i'm sure it can go much higher but there's loads of down travel which is huge for good ride quality.

overall i'm a touch higher than my 6112's at top perch were.

nose down is ok, remember the back springs are soft, a loaded ice chest will make it sag.

I went simple with a Rough Country leveling kit, 2-3" front, 1" rear. No change in ride quality. Most people like the look of the vehicle level rather than the nose down look from the factory.

2.5” with nice ride quality. I believe you can go up to 3” with no issue from what I remember.

Do you have upgraded rear springs?

I did. Had Eibach Stage 1 installed previously and told them to ensure its leveled. Especially when upgrading my rear springs to Icon 2”. Picked it up Friday night near closing time, looks like they rushed me and didn’t adjust.

Once i hit 500 miles for the retorque, i’ll have them adjust the preload.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually upgraded rear springs to Icon 2”. Thats why the rear sits higher

add some preload to the kings and get you closer to level. then have it aligned. its dumb easy with these kings versus my previous experiences with Fox and adding preload on a titan lol

Go get some dirt on those things would ya? My Kings are getting jealous of all that bling.
It used to be 5 turns = 1" of lift, they might have changed though.

KING recommends no more than 2.5" of lift for max travel. I would stick to that. I personally dont think positive rake is a bad thing especially for trucks that get loaded down for trips. Also you get more departure clearance which is nice.
