Recent (post Covid) Full King Suspension order fulfilment time frame question

Hi,

Just checking in to see on average lead times for folks that have ordered full King suspension kits since around June/July of this year? How long did it take to get your kit? Or are you still waiting for yours like I am?

I only ask because I ordered mine on July 6, 2020 and have yet to receive it. My understanding is that they're all special order. I went with no adjusters and my only "customization" was that I chose to go with 650# coils . Does 5+ months and still waiting seem like a reasonable amount of time or has amazon's prime model got the best of my patience?

I ordered my rear kings from wheelers off-road on Black Friday. Contacted them yesterday and they said they expect my order to be filled by January.

10 to 20 weeks is what Im hearing from multiple places. I know that’s vague, but I think a lot of that also varies based on what you’re ordering exactly and who you order it through.

Ordered 2.5 non-adj from a reputable local seller on Aug 28th. Received my set 12 weeks later.

I also heard lead times are 15+ weeks. 20+ weeks for any custom order.

I got lucky and that was one of the longest expensive shipment I experienced.

Good luck to all!

Ordered mine from Wheelers with adjusters and 650lb springs on September 8. I got the rears around the end of October, but was told the fronts wouldn't arrive until the end of December. If they actually do come end of this month, that would be about 16 weeks.

Even during COVID, 5+ months definitely does not sound normal. You probably should have gotten them by now.

How was your experience with Filthy Motorsports? Is it worth to spend the extra $100 for consultation and such?

overall very good. unless you've got some custom/out of the norm stuff planned for your rig, the phone consultations are probably sufficient to get the setup you want

Dang, those are long wait times!

I ordered my Kings back in June but had to piece it together at the time because suppliers were starting to run short. Got rears from Accutune and fronts from DownSouth, I think. Took 2.5 weeks to get in.

I'm sorry, guys. 20 weeks is crazy.

For something that cost over $2,000+ and that long of a wait can mess with someone’s emotions. But if you know you bought from a reputable seller, then the wait is worth it. From stock to Eibachs to Kings, I’m very pleased with my decision.

More of a WANT, than a NEED. Lol

Off topic question regarding kings.

If your planning on having the following added weight, what rating kings fronts springs would you get ? 550, 600, 650 or 700 lbs ?

Added weight :

C4 winch bumper
Winch
Gobi rack + light bar
Sliders
