Lift nightmare round 2

About a month ago I posted about the nightmare lift install I had done at a shop. Rear springs, UCA's weren't installed properly. Anyways, the saga continues. First, I ordered the Eibach kit from a shop out in Ohio. When I received the kit the springs appeared damaged. The finish was flaking off. I believe this was from how they packaged them. They placed the front springs inside the rear springs. This caused them to bang around against each other during shipping. Now, I paid extra to have the top hats installed so I wouldn't have to mess with it. When I contacted the shop I bought them from they stated there was nothing they could do because they can't be returned or exchanged once the top hats were installed. They then further accused me of being the one to damage them. Naturally, not wanting damaged goods I filed a claim with PayPal and miraculously the guy decided to allow me to return them. He wrote in an email " have them sent back and I'll refund you". PayPal temporarily refunded me while they investigated. Several months later I get a charge back. I call PayPal and they say this business is saying I never sent the lift kit back. Jokes on them as I was able to provide proof from UPS with a tracking number and his signature signing for the package. Point of the story is really be careful who you do business with. Keep your receipts and shipping info. Im not sure what the rules are about posting about shops on here but this is really scumbag sh*t.

Neo-garage is who I received the damaged lift from. Link is below so you can avoid them if you would like. 2010+ Toyota 4Runner | 5th Gen | NEO Garage

I ended up placing an order with ToyTec who did a phenomenal job packaging up the product and getting it out to me.

I see no reason you can't post who you did business with and then in turn tried this maneuver on you.

I would like to know "who not to do business with"!

Agreed - especially the Denver shop since a lot of people in Colorado drive Toyotas. I get the shipping issue can happen; bad customer service to make you go through PayPal but at least that was mostly asthetic.

The lift install is a major issue which could have led to safety concerns or worse.

I think its really important that you give feedback on products and merchants that you use or buy products from. I appreciate it and use that info. A lot of things I want to use on my 4Runner come from this and other sites and from members like you who have tried products, ordered from merchants or used a utilized a certain business.
If something isn't as promoted, has bad customer service or a bad product, speak up so I can avoid dealing with those same issues.
So from my side, I think you can and should speak up when things aren't right.
I would appreciate it so I can avoid those same issues.

Just FYI the shop I used was not in Denver. I know my profile says Denver that is old and I need to change it.

You started a thread to warn everyone to “be careful who you do business with” and then don’t reveal who we should not do business with? Seems naming these shops could do at least someone on this forum a service.

The only reason I didn't name the shop was because I have seen other reviews on here and people don't name drop. OP is updated to include the shops info information.

Yeah, well trying to scam roughly $900 out of your customer I would argue is a pretty severe "mistake".
