It does not block the view. I understand safety aspects are important, but this is just a phone mount. There are risks involved everywhere we go with our cars. How about other modifications? This includes lift, changing tire size, super charger, headlights, and etc. If you think about it that way, anything could happen.

I had terrible experience with other phone mounts. They kept failing on me.
