I think it’s really only one person here rather than the “Kids”. Might help to single someone out and tell them how it’s supposed to be.
Taking a quick scan of his posts, seems like a common dialogue . Just my “opinion” that’s all...
I guess it’s hard not to be a dick when you are one.

Canadian SR5 Bumper Swap

Just let it slide OP, he’s obviously accomplishing his goal.
Thank you for starting this thread. I also have a BP ltd and have been looking at different options for the front end. Not really into doing the whole 14+ conversion, and this looks like a good looking alternative.
If anyone is looking to not go the plasti dip route, I’ve used Duplicolor paint match and it is a bang on match for the BP.
P.S. I’ll hold your hand...

Found one from when I first did it. Color matches surprisingly well, I was shocked. It’s held up fairly well, I could’ve done a better job apply it, but it’s lasted the last 10 months.

It’s all good, I know people are interested in the swap as it’s not been done before as far as I know, and some don’t even know that Canadian SR5 bumper exists. Cheaper alternative to a full trail or 2014+ style. I’m stoked about it. I used Duplicolor as well over a white primer on the bumper. Let me know if ya have any questions, it was pretty easy with an OCD tape job to get the lines right.

I love this mod, very original!

I personally can't stand the early LE flat square lower corner bumper and the way that line wraps straight around, it looks like an old school lincoln navigator. I just bought a 13 Limited with bumper damage and I will probably do this, especially since the big piece is only $61.

I found a link you posted to the bumper cover on another thread, that exact one is currently out of stock. I think I found another, looks the same. Maybe you would know better? I'll put it here for referece: Amazon bumper cover

If that is the one it looks like it comes up on lots of vendors by searching 10-13 4runner Trail Edition bumper cover, even though it doesn't have the same center as a TE. I see the TE center "bull bar" sold separately. Is that just another piece over this Canada SR5 you used?

The Canadian SR5 doesn’t have the holes to clip in the extra plastic piece the trail has. So you could really use either, but if you go with the trail bumper you’ll have to buy that extra plastic piece or you will have holes.

more questions

I had front bumper damage from a sideswipe on interstate a few weeks ago. Following this thread, I had the body shop replace my 12 limited bumper with the SR5 bumper. Looks great but wondering about the wheel well liners. I spoke with the OP and he just trimmed his LE ones and made it work. That is what the shop did to mine too.
My question is in Harpers LE to Trail thread, he ordered trail wheel well liners and installed them. I have open areas in front of wheels and the new fender flares have two empty holes where it would mount to the liner. My OCD is getting the best of me and I want to order the liners to fill the voids and holes.
Harper listed part numbers for the w/kdss versions. I dont want to just get more limited versions so if I order the w/kdss versions are there holes for that etc? If anyone with a 10-13 trail would take a pic of their wheel wells I would appreciate it! Anyone else done this yet?
Thanks,
X

That looks SO good!

Seriously, Don't be upset if I copy your idea here! WOW! Love it!

EDIT: Can't wait to see what you do with the rockers and sliders!

Hopefully you can help me out. I'm going to do this to my 13 SR5. Will I need new fender trim and new mounting brackets to go from USA SR5 to Canadian SR5?
